Saturday was the first official virtual mentoring session of the 2020-21 school year for the Virginia Peninsula Chapter mentees.  Over 32 mentors and mentees were up early and excited to see one another on the call.  Incoming Vice-president of mentoring Dr. Mark Hudson, lead the call and shared the vision and goals of this year’s program.  This year the group with be diving into the book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey.

We also had special guest Dr. Chevese Thomas, Principal of Lindsay Middle School join the call to share a few tips on being successful in a virtual classroom environment.
