The Virginia Peninsula Chapter hosted its annual Camp Esteem mentoring program! Over 45 current and past mentees attended the camp from June 20th-23rd. The mentees had the opportunity to participate in the 3rd annual Camp Olympics, nature walks, Leap of Faith, zip lining and much more. This year we also had our own chapter member, Gus Owens, teach several of the campers how to swim at the camp pool. We finished the camp with a cookout for all members and parents to attend. At the cookout, we acknowledged all of our current and former mentees for their academic accomplishments achieved throughout the year. Additional photos can be viewed in our gallery under the blog.
