Member J.J. Hayes presented our Saturday morning lesson on Economic Empowerment. The lesson was intended to demonstrate a few best practices to be used in the immediate and future lives of our mentees regarding the value of money. The mentees watched a powerful documentary and were able to generate their own discussion about techniques to resist non-purposeful spending. They were also given a blueprint on how to build wealth for themselves and their communities through practice of group economics and prudent investing. We hope this insight makes a positive impact on their lives!

The powerful documentary by Jason Black, 7 A.M., was used as the framework for the forum.
